Hi there!

Welcome to my small business! My name is Jay and “Peachy Planters” started as a way to spend more quality time with my mom. We lost my dad to pancreatic cancer in 2023 and as a way for me to keep my mom busy, I decided to expand our existing little garden from a couple of Thai chili plants and various small veggies to adding more variety of edible plants.

I also decided to grow more vegetables at home to be less dependent on grocery stores and eat more “clean” while also something for both of us to look forward to everyday!

After building a couple of planters and posting them on my social media – friends and families began to ask me to build some for them. Most recommended me to post on Facebook Marketplace to sell and after a couple of friends gave the same recommendation; I mustered up the courage to post and began selling them.

The original name of this business was originally “Gilbert Garden” but my girlfriend said “what if you move away from Gilbert?”. That’s when I decided to find an adjective that was fun, memorable, and had a catchy name to add in front of “Planters” and that’s when “Peachy” was selected.

The rest is history and I am now on a mission to be “Arizona Planter Guy” and help Arizonians fulfill their dream garden – big or small, novice or veteran hobbyists!
